The Real Housewives: Ultimate Girls Trip - RHONY Legacy12/15/2023

The ladies from New York are back! This season was touted as the OG’s return. Sonja Morgan, Luann de Lesseps, Ramona Singer, Dorinda Medley, Kristen Taekman and Kelly Killoren Bensimon return.  Kristen and Kelly don’t strike me as OG’s, but they are holding their own so far. They head to St. Barths, Kelly’s “Scary Island” (season 3). Staying in the same villa as in Season 5, think Luann’s pirate. This should be interesting.

All the ladies are beautiful in their own way, but Kelly needs to lay off the filler. She doesn’t need it. Dice are rolled for room assignments. Dorinda wins the best room, but trades with Ramona and Sonja. It’s comical to watch Dorinda try to find the bathroom in her room. During the first luncheon, Kristen uses the word “fired” to Dorinda. Surprise, no surprise, Dorinda loses her shit! She can be so lovely, witty and together one moment, then the switch flips and she’s crazy, delusional Dorinda. Andy Cohen was being very nice (or very scared) when he told Dorinda she was “paused”. Hello, Dorinda, your ass was FIRED!

Over dinner, Luanne shares her “pirate story” swearing she didn’t sleep with the Johnny Depp lookalike. Sonja questions her saying Luanne admitted to sleeping with him. Luanne keeps denying, but no one is buying.

The next morning, Sonja and Ramona are hilarious, as always, dealing with Sonja’s eye stye. They are the true “Lucy and Ethel”.  Kelly brings 98 pounds of swag bag products which pisses off Luanne. Dorinda shares a funny story about Sonja staying in her apartment. It involves a couch, a cheap blanket and Marley, the dog.

We find out Ramona has a boyfriend, but for once, her lips are sealed. Ramona seems a bit more relaxed, not as manic as in the past. And this bitch does not age! Kudos or “Kudooze” to her.

Kelly seems more grounded, but she is in complete denial about what happened on “Scary Island”. She refuses to own her part. Kelly does own up to not sharing information about her life during her first season on RHONY. We learn that she was in a “bad situation” with a boyfriend; she now wishes she would have “come out with it”.   We see a different side to her. I was shocked by her openness. Kristen’s husband’s “Dolly” (Ashley) Madison scandal is discussed. She is currently the only married one in this group. Looks like they worked it out. A bunch of young, and I mean young men show up to “hang out” with the ladies. Several are younger than their own children. It’s a bit cringy. Well, more than a bit. Dorinda agrees, making several digs. Ramona plays a prank on Luanne that doesn’t quite hit the mark.

All of this happens in the first two episodes. I’m really looking forward to his season. One thing is for certain, these women have chemistry. Undeniable chemistry.
