The 4th Quarter of Life 11/4/2025

Two things I swore I would never do are live in a senior community and own a reclining chair. Well, here I sit in my recliner writing this from my home in a 55+ senior "trailer" park. How did I get here? I have no freaking idea.

For those of you reading this who are not in the 55+ age bracket, I have one nugget of advice for you. Enjoy your youth! The years have flown by so fast. You're reading the words of an ex-party girl turned mom of five to now, grandma to seven.

Last year, I decided to sell my house, move closer to my mom, my children and the grandkids. Buying a home on the other side of town seemed like a great idea, but I was missing out on so much family time.

After touring several 55+ communities, I decided on the one that was more like a resort with lots of amenities, friendly neighbors who didn't seem too nosy, a variety of daily activities, and several aqua exercise programs.

This blog will highlight the next and final journey of my life, the 4th quarter.
